A city on Santa Monica Bay, home to the Santa Monica Pier and Palisades Park. It borders the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, West Los Angeles and Venice.
Getting Around The Westside
Interstate 10, the Santa Monica Freeway, begins in Santa Monica near the Pacific Ocean and heads east. The Metro E Line was extended to Downtown Santa Monica in 2016 and runs through Culver City and downtown Los Angeles to East Los Angeles.
